In conformity with the Law of Ukraine On the regime of foreign investment, for preservation of the income, profit or other means in operating in Ukraine currency, the foreign investors have the right to have current and settlement accounts in banks of Ukraine, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.The current accounts and account deposites with a free mode of usage belong to such kinds of accounts. The ballances of the accounts can freely be converted in foreign exchanges at the rate, established by National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
The accounts for legal and natural persons to the non-residents are opening accordin to the order, foreseen by a National Bank of Ukraine . According to the Decree of the Board of National bank of Ukraine No 527 from 18.12.1998 the instruction On the order of opening and usage of the accounts in national and foreign currency, was approved.
Legal persons - non-residents can open the following accounts on the territory of Ukraine in national and foregn currencies:
Current
accounts in national and foreign currency are opened by the
jegal persons' representatives of non-residents.
Deposite accounts
in foreign currency are opened by the authorised bank for natural
and legal persons (residents and non-residents) on the base of signed
deposite agreement between the owner of the account and the bank on the
period mentioned in the agreement.
Natiral
persons - non-residents and stateless persons, who are temporarily
abided on the terrains of Ukraine for the period less then 1 year
(pursuant to the open visa, or other verifying documents) can open in
bank entities:
The N-type
account is opened by authorized bank for the Agencies of the legal
persons - non-residents, which represent the legal persons
non-residents in Ukraine and not provede enterprise activity on teritory
of Ukraine.
The
P-type account is opened by authorized bank of Ukraine for the
agencies of the foreign companies, corporations, international
organizations, derivated in any organizational form without legal
person status, through which enterprise activity of the non-resident
in terrain of Ukraine is realised.
Clients of
bank can open the only account for the formation of the
authorized capital of the subject of enterprise activity (in foreign
and/or national currency) and one account (in foreign and /or
national currency) on each agreement of joint cooperation without
creation of the legal person.
Banks pen the current accounts to the subjects of enterprise
activity during 10 calendar days after obtaining by bank of a
full block of the documents fot the opening of the account.
The
documents for the opening of the bank accounts are submited by the
persons who have the first or the second signature right on the legal
person. If among the persons with the the first or the second signature
right there are aliens or stateless persons, who temporarily abide in
terrain of Ukraine, these persons are obliged follow-up to submit the
documents verifying lawfulness of their stay on the territory of
Ukraine. In cases, foreseen by current legislation of Ukraine, foreigners
or stateless persons are obliged to submit work permit issued by the
State employment center of the Ministry of transactions and social
policy of Ukraine.

and foreign currencies) by non-residents (legal or natural persons),
